Own Your Career Workshop
Overview
Employees want to work in organizations where they feel they can grow their careers. Yet, many are frustrated as they wait for opportunities to come their way or for their managers to recognize their contributions and get them promoted. Feeling that their good work alone should be enough to land their dream job, they wonder why they continually get passed for promotions and experience feelings of frustration, discouragement and not being valued. They feel powerless.
This workshop will help participants realize the power they possess to take ownership of their careers. Rather than wishing and waiting for opportunities to come their way, they will position themselves to prepare, pursue and possess the career they will work to deserve. Rather than wait for their manager to recognize their value, they will seek clarity as to what constitutes success for their role and align with their manager to develop a career growth plan.
