About the company

About Us

We love to see individuals take responsibility for their personal development and own the contributions they make to their respective teams, organizations, and communities. We believe that an individual’s ability to lead one’s self effectively (self-leadership) is fundamental to all leadership development.  We are ecstatic when we see leaders become aware of their blind spots, or where their intentions do not match their impact. This increased self-awareness, coupled with newly acquired skills, positions the learner for change.

It is during these vulnerable moments when learning can begin, growth can take place, and teams are impacted.  It is also when intact team members move from tolerating their differences to valuing the unique differences each team member brings to the group and leveraging them to improve team cohesion and effectiveness.

We exist to facilitate these learning experiences that (a) equip individuals with tools and resources to grow their careers within their organizations, (b) empower managers to provide leadership to their employees based on their individual needs and (c) encourage team members to commit to the collective success of their teams.  This is why LeadSelf, LLC has been established.  Our clients are our priority!

our approach

Through the use of assessments, facilitated learning experiences and coaching, we partner with individuals, leaders, and teams to improve performance.   We leverage instructional design methodologies that appeal to all learning styles to enhance learning sustainability and application in the workplace, so the learning goes beyond the classroom to real work.

Our workshops are not lectures but facilitated learning experiences.  They are also supported by research and complimented with practical application from the facilitator’s personal business experience.  Personal examples of success and failure make the learning relevant and serve as a reminder that individuals and leaders across all business and non-profit segments have similar challenges and triumphs.  Participant’s most impactful learning will come from their peers through experiential exercises, peer coaching, sharing reflections and best practice sharing.
